the diamond glint
the light hits the
surface of this globe
and daily lives
dazzling sparkling
bouncing off the
face and features
that bring location
identity and meaning
these flashes of
brilliance bring joy
and deception
there is so much
more overlooked
forgotten buried
deep and inscrutable
to the fancy flighty
fluttering of surface
living what does time
truly garner and
betoken the display
or the depths that
require a different
sight and even a
different heart to
value and follow an
entirely hidden path
whose hints and
hauntings sparkle
in the mystery where
words and wisdom
fall away to reveal
the reality where
the clock stops and
the when has no
meaning and the
life no
end
