a band of gold
turned heartbeats
into kisses the
endless circle
opened the
horizon of
eternity in
losing and
belonging in
the adventure
of otherness and
an intimacy
whose breath
brought healing
and hope we
are not shackled
but freed and
given as giver
and gift so two
hearts dance
in the rhythm of
the delight of
ecstasy and the
silent depths of
stasis when the
clock stands still
and this world
dissolves in the
journey of being
lost and found
simultaneously
a union that is a
prayer that takes
us over the brink
of survival onto
the threshold of
a tomorrow that
is never but will
always be ours
