Poetry list
the tin opener and the dawn
pressure, convenience,
the sharp edge slits and
slices its way into
processed fuel ease and
power almost silently
unseal another’s efforts
towards a meal here is
the procedure of mechanics
and material in an every
day poetry circumnavigating
and replacing our need for
awe and wonder that
steals upon every morning
in the dawn that’s missed
and the mist and mystery
mourns here is the
time and now is the choice
